HEP Journal Club

    WS 2015/16

    Goal:

The High Energy Physics Journal Club is intended to give all members of our HEP group (Bachelor, Master, PhD, PostDoc) a forum to discuss papers on topics of general interst. These may be new publications or classical papers of our field that are accessible to all HEP students.

The idea is that one of us gives a short introductory presentation (half an hour) of the paper he/she selected, highlighting why the paper is interesting and what are the crucial aspects that deserve a discussion. The style of the Journal Club is informal and its aim is to give the students the opportunity to share their research interests and to encourage discussions within the whole HEP group.

The papers to be discussed will be announced on this website in advance, to give everybody the opportunity to have a look at the paper before discussion.

Students that want to contribute in one of the sessions with a specific topic, please contact me: wunger@physik.uni-bielefeld.de
