Recently new exciting theoretical developments occured in understanding of transport phenomena and collective behavior in particle physics, e.g., in the quark-gluon plasma (QGP), and in cosmology, i.e., cosmological inflation. The aim of the Summer School is to provide an overview about the theoretical understanding of such equilibrium and non-equilibrium phenomena from first principles, described within quantum field theory.
The school is aimed at PhD students and postdocs in the above mentioned research areas. The number of participants is limited to 40.
The conference fee is € 50,-
Financial support for a limited number of participants is available.
On each day there will be two morning and one afternoon lectures of 90 minutes duration by invited specialists of the field and 6-8 talks by the participants of 20 minutes duration.
