Research Topics

Baryogenesis, or why is there more matter in the Universe than antimatter?
The nature of dark matter, or what is the source of the excess gravitational pull observed in galactic systems?
The nature of dark energy, or what is the physics determining the accelerated expansion of the Universe?
The origin of large scale structures (galaxies, galaxy clusters, etc.) in the Universe, or how do structures grow?
Other topics of interest are cosmological inflation and primordial non-Gaussianity, phase transitions in the early Universe, compact stars,
cosmological constraints on physics beyond the Standard Model.
